RK, just bought group 31s to replace the 8Ds that didn't last 2 years, at napa for $99s each, cables can reach but look for corrosion, I turned my 31s a little counter clockwise and put a 10" 2X4 to hold it against the front of the pullout tray, and do dissconnect batterys when not using for a while, I have 3 sets one for generator start, 2 for house 12V power and 2 for engine start two making 24V, the 2 behind passenger are the engine start, as has been mentioned before, cold areas are more in need of the 8D cold cranking than above freezing areas, I took that advise, thanks guys, and saved $300 and a pain in the back, lvmci...

Hi all, saw a 102a3 partial conversion today. For sale was 20K now 15K. Had furnisings, now just a 3/4 bath and a fridge 2 burner stovetop & sink. Nothing else, but 2 roof airs in boxes included, Might be an easy rescue. But found severe rust on surge tank supports and the bay dooor couplers all rusted, not severe tho, I dont think its worth more than my 5As 1986 conversion  slightly updated in 2003, is my perspective wrong? I thought the same thing 10 days ago of a mci7 pro conversion of a combo with updated caps, webasto, cruiseaire, but totally unkept,.dirty, and owners had no knowledge of the vehicle in either case, lvmci...

Hi All, you might consider tankless waterheaters, I have an electric for parking and propane tankless for boondocking, if your situation allows the electric tankless is very small, most require 220, I'm thinking of replacing the tank with a tankless also, then I would be totally tankless! People say that about me anyway, happy holidays, lvmci...

Hi All, had a great time at Lake Mead RV Village, 4 buses showed up for first So. Nevada NRG, The Dam Rally, I think more would have come if weather wasn't so bad in surrounding states, but we had a great weekend, nice place! Lvmci...
