Selling my Shinny Yellow TR7
« on: April 24, 2012, 12:44:40 PM »
Okay, I'm cheating.  But I don't think it will hurt anyone's feelings if I post here.

Best pictures are here:

I have this on Craigslist, Ebay, and the Triumph TR7 forum.  This seems as good as any to place another one.

Sadly selling my project car.  If we're ever going to get the work finished on the bus, the car must go.

If you're in the area and just want to see, you're always welcome.

a question - how the heck do you get the cars out with them parked sideways in the garage ??  :P that is some expert driving there.
Does the showroom floor come with the car ?? man that is bright in there  ::)

Looks like a lot of fun but I'm to old to climb down into cars anymore.

When I bought the house the garage floor was a mess.  Bad cracks everywhere.  I considered a number of options, but settled on this plastic floor.  I totally love it!  One big plus is that it isn't cold in the winter, it insulates your feet from the cold concrete.  I heat my garage and often work out there in just my slippers.

Getting the cars in the garage takes a combination of skill and a very attentive wife watching the corners  :)

Actually, it wasn't bad.  The yellow car came in first and put it tight to the front.  Then brought in the green car.  I had to spin the green car with my floor jack.  Then moved it tight to the doors.  After that, I was able to move the yellow car back so there is lots of space all the way around.

It sure has been a fun project.  I hate to see it go.  And, with this economy, it might not sell anyway.  My price reflects a huge loss, but it isn't a cheap car.  Not everybody has the money to spend on a project, especially an unusual English car.

yes I had a porsche 914. Fun little car but geesh it was dang close to the ground. I bought it at the auction for $50 - yes thats right. It was perfect except for the ignition was wired wrong. Color black with not a scratch on it. Problem was when I had it out front for sale, some A-hole took the name plates off it. I still sold it for $2,000.

I bought a 1963 Mack firetruck but that doesn't fit in the garage and needs a makeover. Sadly I think it's time she goes up for sale too.

The floor in your garage looks pretty neat.
Good luck in your sale.
